Explore garden exhibits, educational booths, artisan vendors, and hands-on activities for all ages. Whether you’re a gardening enthusiast or just looking for a beautiful day outdoors, this event is for you!

While our 35 Anniversary Celebration events are free, donations are greatly appreciated!

Learn about the pollinator species found in the Temecula area—especially butterflies—and discover how beneficial these pollinators are and which plants can attract them to our gardens.

Guests can make butterfly and moth antennae, create roses with pipe cleaners, view a butterfly specimen through a dissecting scope and complete a Pollinator Scavenger Hunt worksheet.

This exhibit will feature hands-on physics experiments, including a solar telescope, meteorite collection and magnets. Visitors will learn about physics concepts in a fun and engaging way.

Safely look at the sun through a telescope equipped with a solar filter, touch meteorite samples and explore additional hands-on experiments.


Veterans Supplemental Services Network

Visit the Pink Peppermint Veterans Lounge, featuring a relaxing family space with hands-on clay and pottery activities inspired by nature and Rose Haven Garden.


Western Science Center

Meet Max the Mastodon and receive a fun temporary tattoo! Explore Ice Age fossil replicas, discover local prehistoric animals and participate in hands-on activities comparing herbivores and carnivores.

Visitors can even become paleontologists by examining bite marks left on fossil bones.
